Galvanized Gravity Roller Conveyors are a type of conveyor that uses gravity to move items along a series of rollers. Adjust the rollers to accommodate different sized items. Therefore it is ideal for handling light to medium-weight items. The galvanized finish helps protect in harsh environments.
How does it operate?
A series of rollers connected in a line operate the conveyor. Set in a slight incline, gravity creates a downward force to move items along the conveyor. Therefore, the speed is adjustable depending on the weight of the items and the incline. Equipped with bearings to reduce friction, the rollers move products efficiently as a result.
What are these used for?
A galvanized gravity roller conveyor is used to transport lightweight packages or items from one point to another. For instance, they are typically used in warehouses, shipping departments, and assembly lines. They often are used to move items down inclines or around curves. The galvanized finish adds protection from corrosive outdoor environments.
