Make your pallet rack mobile by adding our Mobile Rack Wheel. It is a heavy-duty caster wheel on a 5″ x 8″ footplate. The wheel can be bolted to the footplate of most existing pallet rack. you can bolt it very easily the matching footplate of a standard pallet rack frame.

Pallet rack manufacturers have varying footplate designs, therefore, not all bolt holes line up. This item fits most racking that has a 5″ x 8″ footplate. If your footplate does not measure 5″ x 8″, it will not fit. Even if you have a 5″ x 8″ footplate, the holes may not line up due to the wide variety of manufacturers and designs. To be sure your racking will fit, contact us and we will send you a free template that you can test on your racking to confirm that it will fit.

Safety Considerations for Mobile Pallet Rack

This product works great on racking 10ft and under. We do not recommend using this for tall pallet rack, particularly when heavily loaded.

You may want to consider getting guard rails to protect your walkways if you have mobile racks such as these. Column guards and RAMguards may also be prudent to protect it from the contact between the two racks. You could also use these on your newly made mobile rack.

You should also consider adding a sliding safety net or a safety strap to protect you or your employees from the possibility of falling products from the rack levels as you move them. Alternatively, you may want to consider a pallet rack guard panel instead.
